This picture looks like an early inspiration for Insectosaurus. By the way, his sound effects voice was my favorite thing about the Monsters VS Aiens film. I laughed a little inside every time he belched out that horrifying sound. Any chance his voice was inspired by the Pod Racer SFX from Star Wars? I kept thinking of that.
Hello and welcome to the page. I have been wanting to post these little mind scraps for awhile and finally got around to doing it. By the way, on the Russian animation link, go to the DVD section and click on the 500 link. You get to see part of the show.

Excellent homage to him. I like his fancy boots.
