Warp Drive

This was a show I was developing for Hyperion Studios about 15-16 years ago. It was basically Taxi in the future. I was pretty obsessed at the time with what I called "Lame future". Technological advances that do nothing to improve our way of life. Like everything floating JUST above the ground for no reason. I found these this weekend while cleaning out my garage.

Hola Conrad,

Wow this is a whole lot of new postings, not to mention impressive color drawings!

If you want to see a movie about technology that does nothing to improve our lives, watch "Idiocracy" by director Mike Judge (of Beavis and Butthead and Office Space fame). I think you'll get a kick out of it. How's Jules doing lately? I still haven't heard from him at all.

Is this the Conrad that went to El Toro High School? Sax player?

Just curious.

Conrad - I hope you post some new stuff soon. You have some of the most stunning sketchbook pages I've ever seen. Actually, all of your work is pretty stunning. I look forward to seeing some new stuff.
